Dermal Fillers

Dermal filler treatments are one of the most significant advances in modern cosmetic medicine because they present a more ‘natural’ way to reduce facial lines and wrinkles and restore a youthful look to your face and skin without surgery.

Injectable facial fillers (dermal fillers) are a non-surgical treatment that uses manufactured Hyaluronic Acid filler to restore elasticity and facial volume. A dermal filler procedure adds volume where facial volume is lost in the ageing process, thus restoring youthful and aesthetically-balanced facial contours.

The choice of the right anti-wrinkle dermal filler and injecting just the right amount in the right places is paramount to achieving safe and long-lasting results. When injecting dermal fillers into the face, experience and judgement are key to achieving a natural look.  We recommend that you should only seek dermal filler treatment with a fully qualified medical practitioner.

  • What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers are made from Hyaluronic acid (HA) which is a naturally occuring sugar found in our bodies.

Hyaluronic acid naturally attracts water into the skin and gives it natural volume.

After the age of 20, the natural level of hyaluronic acid in our cells begins to fall.

Dermal fillers allow us to restore facial volume loss by means of injection of hyaluronic acid thus restoring more youthful attractive contours.

At Salcombe Aesthetics we create a natural look, not "looking done".

  • Where can dermal fillers be used?

Dermal fillers can be used to soften facial lines and wrinkles, shape facial contours:cheeks, chin, jaws and lips.

  • Are dermal fillers painful?

Dermal Fillers are injected using a tiny needle or canula.  We use dermal fillers which contain lidocaine - a local anaesthetic and this makes the procedure comfortable.

  • How much do dermal fillers cost?

Dermal fillers are priced per 1ml starting at £300.

  • What filler products do you use at Salcombe Aesthetics?

We only use Hyalurionic Fillers made by reputable international pharmaceutical companies such Allergan or Galderma.
