  • What are wrinkle reduction injections?

    Wrinkle reduction injections - Botox® (Botulinum A), are injected into muscles to reduce the contraction of the muscle.  Contraction of muscle causes skin to fold and wrinkle and so by relaxing muscle contraction reduces the folds (wrinkles) in skin. 

  • What does wrinkle reduction treatment involve?

    To achieve a more youthful appearance, injections  are administered using the smallest needle available.

  • What brand of botulinum do you use?

    We use the brand leader, Allergan Botox®

  • Are results immediate?

    The effects of Botox® may be seen in some patients from 3 days but the full even effect usually takes an average 14 days following treatment.

  • How long do wrinkle reduction injections last?

    Results usually last 3 months but some people experience results lasting longer than this.  The severity of wrinkles and strength of the muscles influences how long the treatment can last.  With repeated treatments, the results are likely to last for longer.


    Only the injected muscles are affected at the point of injection so you are able to maintain normal facial expression and the muscles will recover completely once the treatment wears off.

  • Does the treatment hurt?

    We use the smallest size needle to administer our Botox® injections.
